ride the goat

Temporal power given, temporarily, traditionally to the man or woman

In charge of human sacrifice. Who pushed, and pulled, cut and cut and cut

Innocence in twos in threes and in fours, made children kill children

For traumatization and of course blood sport, institutionalized and allowed

By those who want to hold onto their power, see what’s in the blood

Have always seen what’s in the blood, life’s essence that’s cooked

Down into so much salt milk from the lamb and it is said about wickedness

that it will parade in ivory Gucci capes and red Armani shoes

that everyone sells their soul at some point for gold, for a better station

with flashier amenities those who lose sight of their purpose

are repurposed and forced into the meat grinder of mediocrity
