Mr. Fix It

Where were the police

while children were being abused

While the funny man was having over nighters

in foster homes

When the inquest was buried

When the night fell

Lords and Ladies

in their protected stations

hellfire cabal, wolves in sheep clothes

ivy grows around the bench

the stone is unmoved, uncaring

actively suppresses the truth

those responsible remain in the shadows

Mr. Fix it served as a useful pawn

to be replaced by a fresh new face

and a penchant for sadistic control
